Not gonna be able to wear these fancy girlie clothes out there, Charlotte. Gonna have to go back to looking like...you know...yourself.

*grins* No worries. I have normal clothes in my bag.

*frowns for a moment*
But I'm not wearing anything sparkly... *she looks at him to see where his eyes are focused, follows his gaze, and then blushes when she realizes how much of her is on display*
Well...Kate thought the pants would be more... Distracting... *elbows him but is grinning*

And I'm not admitting anything.

I'll fight you over whose fish are better.

Me and you? Cuddling for body heat in the great outdoors? Bellies full of far superior fish, caught by yours truly?

*throws the bag over one shoulder before she can answer him, walking off grabbing a cooler and a tent in a box*

It makes sense. I have noticed the nights get pretty cold here.

*she grabs a couple things* But we will be full of my fish. Not yours. *grins*

Or maybe I'll hunt while you fish? See who gets dinner first?

You know, Charlie, one of these days you're gonna need to get an attitude to match that body of yours.

*turns back and keeps walking, grabbing a lantern with his now free hand*

Let me know when you want some help with that. Until then. I'll be providing superior dinner. You hunt, I'll fish. We'll call ourselves even except I'm better.

*doesn't know what he means, but she carries the tent propped on her hip and manages even if it is a bit awkward*

I've got it under control...Just like I'll have dinner cooked and ready before you even get out of your shirt to go fishing in the cold. *grins* You let ME know if you need help.

*she puts it on the check out counter, grabbing a bag of marshmallows*

Are you concerned with how long it takes me to get my clothes off, Charlotte?

*he fishes out the money Rick loaned him, since the stuff he'd use to pay in Panem doesn't really fly here, and pays for their camping gear*

...We're gonna need backpacks. Unless you have a car stashed somewhere I don't know about that can haul all this into the woods.

Not really. I'm sure you'll give up and jump in with them on if it helps you be quicker. *grins*

Never driven a car... *she looks around and spots them*

I'll grab a couple. *she comes back with two large backpacks that will be perfect for stowing all their camping supplies and trekking to wherever they'll end up making camp*

Do you have somewhere specific in mind? *she sets them down on the counter* Or should we just start walking until we find somewhere that works? *grins, clear that she's up for the adventure in either case, but likes the search almost as much as the rest of it*

Well *finishes paying for their supplies* I was planning on letting my Girl Scout here do all the work. *grins at her and starts hauling their stuff outside* She can fish! She can hunt! Surely she can find a decent camp site!

Whatcha say? Think you can manage? *holds out an old, beaten compass to her*

*laughs and then grins* I could find us a campsite in my sleep. Try and keep up, Finny.

*she helps load up the two backpacks with everything before disposing of the packaging and then swings one up on her back and starts off without looking at the compass towards somewhere she'd started to scout out earlier. She had only looked around a little and really wanted to explore more. What better opportunity?*

*There seem to be signs of game as they walk further and further in, so she concentrates on envisioning where they are on the map she looked at earlier.* There should be some water just up this way... Maybe there will be a nice clearing too.

You might not get to show off your fishing prowess, but there's a little creek it sounds like, so there'll be water at least.

*walks a little ways into the clearing she's talking about and then drops his bag*

I've got a little experience with shelter building. If I can't wield the sea fork.

*points to the tent with her crossbow once she takes it off the backpack*

*when he gets back with a stack, Charlie is off hunting. He drops it into a pile and goes to work on the tent, dumping the whole thing out of the box and starting to work on the poles*

*There are rabbits and squirrels all over, but Charlie wants a little more of a challenge for herself. She sees some indications that there might be some sort of grouse or quail or other small game birds around and takes her time locating them and then flushing them out of hiding before bringing a couple down with her crossbow.*

*She starts heading back towards their camp to clean them there. She wonders the whole time how far he's gotten.*

Your fire, Mighty Huntress! *motions towards the campfire he got started and then bows*

And you'll ignore that travesty *points at the half constructed tent* And be overwhelmingly grateful that I focused my attention on the thing I thought mattered most to you.

*grins at the tent and shrugs* We have fire, food, and it's a nice night. *looks up at all the stars before looking back at him* Do we really need the tent with the sleeping bag?

Buy any nice lingerie to go with those new pants of yours? Because you could model it for me before we turn in for the night. I have a...great eye for fashion. *glances up at her from his work, smirking a little*

One of the older women in the village always said that we sure weren't made of sugar, so we wouldn't melt in the rain. *grins back at him*

You better have an eye for plucking feathers... All we bought was the outfit. And you already saw the top earlier. Kate actually told me I couldn't wear anything underneath it because of the way it's cut, so I didn't.

Didn't think to bring anything either. *shrugs. Of course she's got her jacket on now over one of her regular shirts, but the jeans got to stay*

You want to strip down out here and model? *laughs*. Not so bad by the fire, but... It's too chilly away from it.

*laughs at him and pushes his hand away* What would you make me out of feathers? These two aren't the biggest things. I'd practically be naked and I'd rather that than feathers poking at me while I try to sleep. *grins*

You have the oddest ideas.

Would you wear nothing but feathers? I don't think so. They work for ducks, but I think these would look awful if you got them wet.
