Thank you for joining us here in picturesque Glen Macalie, on the shore of Loch Leven in the Grampian Mountains of Scotland. We welcome you to the campus of the Glen Macalie School for Girls and hope that you will enjoy your stay.

This week will largely be unstructured; you are welcome to investigate the castle (which dates back to 1237 CE) and the nearby village of Glen Macalie. Some resources which will be available to you include:

In the castle:
Comprehensive Library
Modern Kitchens
State of the art Training/Exercise Room
Extensively landscaped grounds and gardens
Horseback Riding
Fishing
Hiking

In the village:
Shopping
Pubs and restaurants
Museum
Historical buildings
Golf

We ask only that you take care to observe the following rules:

1) Please do not leave campus near or after dark.
2) Venturing too far outside after dark, even on campus, is not guaranteed to be safe. You do so at your own risk.
3) There will be occasional evening events. Participation in these events should be considered of minor risk; however, anyone taking part should endeavor to follow all directions to ensure his or her safety.

We can go inside and eat?

*holds her hand back tightly as they walk out of the maze*

Did you see their kitchen? It's huge. I can make us some food then we can eat it somewhere else if you want?

Really? That sounds fun. Where were we last time with horses? Was that at Medieval Times?

*laughs, nodding*

Nah, can't read your thoughts...I just assume if I suggest making food, the answer will usually be yes.

That was fun. And what we did later was fun as well...

*grins as they walk through the front doors and he sighs happily at the warmth*

They have that training center here too. Maybe I can teach you some more sword fighting or something.

Naked sword fighting and especially me claiming my princess as my prize.

*squeezes her hand*

I don't think you're weak, but I'd like to teach you some fighting techniques. It would be a good use of all this knowledge...

*a shiver runs through him and he hums happily*

Only if I win your hand, my dear.

*smiles and shrugs one shoulder slightly*

If I can help you, that would be good. Then maybe you could stand a chance at naked sword fighting.

I think I could be convinced to throw the fight so you could claim me...

Mm, no, we can't do that. Now where is the kitchen...

For me to claim you? Or for you to claim me? Either way, I like the sound of this.

*looks around, up and down the hall*

Yeah, I was looking for the library earlier, but I never found it. I think we should keep going down this hall. Maybe it'll take us there.

Ahh...so the princess wants to be mine.

*quickly sweeps her off her feet, holding her as he spins her once*

If I wasn't so hungry, I would claim victory right now and take you up to our room.

Mmm...good idea. Something nice and quick. And we can always get more.

*kisses her cheek*

*walks down the hall for a bit, then puts her down again*

It feels weird to be walking in a school holding you...but I can hold you for much longer upstairs.

*walks closely next to her, looking around as they walk*

*they end up at the stairs and he turns to her, smiling*

Stairs! Where was it now? To the left?
