European Train Ride Week

Lets see if I can get it right this time.

Sorry this is so late. Ended up in the hospital this afternoon. This will be a low key week because I don't have it in me for a lot of activities at the moment.



Welcome to The Ebbsfleet International Railway Station located to the east of London. From here, you will be catching the Eurostar train to Paris. Make sure you have your Eurail train pass handy. This is the pass that will allow you to travel throughout europe. If you lose this, you may have to buy a new ticket or remain where you are while the rest of us go on.


Feel free to have a look around the station. The train will be here shortly. As soon as it arrives, you can find your seat and then wander around and get to know your fellow travelers.

Day 2: Welcome to Paris. Feel free to wander around and enjoy the sites.

Day 3: Welcome to Amsterdam. There are sites to see for everyone. Check out the canals. Eat in one of the many fine restaurants. Or if you are into more risqué fun, check out the Red Light District. Here.

We'll be heading for Berlin in the morning.

Day 5:
Today we've arrived in Venice. Venice is really a collection of small islands connected by canals. Venice is the perfect city for couples. If you want to stay around, you can catch the Venice Carnival that begins the end of January. For now, you can take a romantic or relaxing Gondola ride. You can take a tour of the city by boat. You can crash in one of the many luxury hotels. There are museums, amazing architecture, or opera houses. If nightlife is your thing, there are jazz clubs, coffee houses, and pubs to enjoy.

Day 7: And our trip this week ends in Budapest. Stay as long as you like and enjoy your trip home.

"Yeah, that's it," Ashley murmurs. "Just let go." He presses his lips to Derek's spine again, then licks at the spot he just kissed.

"Oh," Derek breathes out, like he's surprised by the idea of letting go, something he's never really done before.

Ashley keeps rubbing Derek's lower back, massaging the muscles ad he continues to kiss a slow, gentle trail down his spine.

Derek's eyes flutter shut as he rumbles happily.

"See? Doesn't it feel good? You can relax with me." Ashley keeps talking, but his words are just a murmur, not really meant to be heard as anything other than a comforting sound.

Derek murmurs his agreement and buries his face in the pillow.

Ashley keeps kissing until he reaches the base of Derek's spine, where he nips lightly again. Digging his thumbs into the tense muscles, he starts to make his way back up again, this time laying tiny licks and nips over the skin.

Derek chuckles. "Feel like falling asleep. Which is the exact opposite of what I thought we'd be doing right now."

"You can," Ashley answers softly, smiling. "If you feel that relaxed, you should enjoy it."

"What about round four," Derek murmurs.

"Tomorrow," he reassures. "Or another day," he adds under his breath.

Derek shivers, silently wishing that they can have a lot more days together. No one has ever made him feel this comfortable when his body was this vulnerable. And because of that, he just lets himself go and falls asleep under Ashley's hands.

Ashley stretches out on the bed beside Derek, once he's sure the other man is asleep. He props his head on his hand and watches for a few minutes, silently. The way the lines of the tattoo shift as Derek breathes in and out, the way his eyelashes lay across the tops of his cheeks. Shit, he sighs to himself. I am so gone.

Derek snuffles and reaches out, searching for the source of the warmth next to him. He's only half asleep, not even conscious enough to realize what he's doing, when he wraps an arm around Ashley and holds him close. He quickly eases back to sleep.

Ashley lets out his breath when Derek wraps an arm around him and pulls him in close. This was probably the last thing that he'd expected for the end of their night. He'd been about to get up, maybe get some air - he'd have left a note, of course - but now he can't imagine doing anything but staying here, no matter how badly his head is swimming in unwanted thoughts. So instead he closes his eyes and curls against Derek, finally giving in and letting himself relax as much as Derek has already done.

Sunlight is just barely filtering into the room when Derek finally wakes up. He blinks and it takes a few seconds for him to realize where he is and what the warm presence is next to him. He remembers how the night ended, falling asleep, feeling relaxed by Ashley. But he doesn't remember wrapping himself around Ashley and he's definitely surprised by the protectiveness he feels. He can't stop himself from breathing in Ashley's scent and letting out a pleased sound.

Ashley doesn't wake when Derek does, but something in his brain registers the soft sound that Derek makes. He turns in his sleep, curling tighter against Derek's chest, one arm slipping around his waist.

Derek smiles down at Ashley when he comes closer. He untangles one of his hands to run it through Ashley's hair. He's torn between getting up and going back to sleep, but his rumbling stomach makes the decision for him. He hates to wake Ashley, but he honestly has no idea where he's at or where any food would be. "Ashley," he tries to wake him quietly.

Ashley lets out a soft whimper at the feel of Derek's fingers in his hair. He starts to wake, but unless he's on the clock and waking to an alarm, it takes him a while. "Ash," he mutters sleepily. "My friends call me."

Derek starts at the implication that he's now one of Ashley's friends. "Well, Ash," he rolls the name around on his tongue, "I'm hungry. And you're my tour guide."

Ashley groans, finally opening his eyes and blinking grey eyes up at Derek. "Room service?" he pouts.

Derek almost starts to lose himself in Ashley's eyes before catching himself. "Got a menu around here somewhere?"

"Probably by the room phone," Ashley yawns, nuzzling at Derek's collarbone.

"Have to detach yourself from me first," Derek says, even though he wishes Ashley didn't have to because he's comfortable.

Ashley sighs, still too sleepy to be careful about how he's acting. "Yeah. Yeah, okay," he nods, reluctantly unwrapping his arms from around Derek.
