Good, good. Went whitewater rafting the other day. It was pretty fun. You and Rick should try it maybe when you aren't....expecting.

*laughs* Yeah, it might not be such a great idea right now. And Rick wouldn't "let" me anyway - he keeps acting like he wants to wrap me in cotton batting. I'm pregnant, not breakable!

Different how? More casual? Dresses and skirts? There's a lot of places we can go with "different," and all of them are exciting and fun.

I don't know that I could get much more casual... Maybe if I was comfortable with nakedness like Finnick. *she makes a face*

I was thinking... Maybe...more like a girl?

Well. There's lots of ways to look like a girl. But I'm guessing you mean skirts, capris, cute tops, things like that?

*moves toward the door of the boutique*

*nods* Like the girls walking around here. They all look so...pretty, you know?

*she touches the fabrics as she walks by things, everything feeling so much more delicate than anything she would normally choose*

*begins to poke through the racks, taking out tops*

These are going to look great on you.

*moves to another set of racks, picking through skirts*

There's a place up the street that sells designer jeans; we'll go there next.

Designer jeans...? Are they better than regular jeans?

*holds the selections*

I don't have to wear those...shoes with the...pointy heels do I? I don't think I can go that far...

*laughs* No, you don't have to wear heels. We'll get jeans that are suited for flats.

Designer jeans usually are cut better than regular jeans, and a lot of times they have fancy designs on them. Sparkles on the butt, things like that.

*grins* Gives the guys something extra to look at.

*tries to look behind herself at her butt* Why would they be looking at my butt?

Guys like sparkles? *she makes a small face* Should I want them looking at my butt? How do I talk to them if they're behind me?

- Charlie who has no idea about guys at all because most of her experience was some guy who keeps stalking her.

Guys do that. Butts and boobs, usually. Trust me on this. Honestly, I can't believe you haven't noticed it before. You have a great figure.

*steers Charlie into a changing room with the clothes*

Really?

*she's still frowning a little as she sheds her clothes and pulls on the first shirt and skirt she sees--likely not in the combination Kate envisioned and probably not even on straight*

*She opens the door to show Kate*

I think this one isn't right.

*steps into the booth with Charlie and helps*

*fixes the skirt*

*adds a top that matches*

Now. Step out there and look at yourself in the mirror.

*looks uncertain and pulls at the straps that are supposed to crisscross over her back and not her chest*

Yes. *she eyes the top, paying more attention to the color than the style of it* I would never choose that color normally... It doesn't blend in at all.
