So this week is loosely based off the TV Show "Misfits"

There will be a freak global storm giving everyone superpowers...each power is based on a character's fears, personality or desire.

Here's some examples:

Personality: Katniss has a fiery temper at points and is dubbed the girl on fire...so she will have the ability to control fire also have it come out of her hands

Fears: Jack fears as an immortal losing people he loves especially Ianto he will have the power to resurrect the dead the catch being they will be immortal as well.

Desire: Irene wants sex so she will have the power to touch anyone she wants and they will be instantly seduced by her.

Players will get to chose their own powers if they need help brainstorming Ill definitely help. They can also chose where they play granted they follow the theme making it for the most part a light week.

I'm working on powers. This is so much harder than I thought!

Potential abilities:

Kat (Alphas) - something to do with her actions being reversed or people having no memory of her when she leaves the room

Don Keefer (The Newsroom) - has to write everything down, because the only word he can say is "fuck." (canon relevant, I swear)

Molly Hooper (Sherlock BBC) - raises the dead

Anya Raczynski (Survivors) - can temporarily heal all afflictions by touch

If anyone's significant others have ideas for the people I play, let me know? I've got vague thoughts for Elijah, Blaine (thanks, Pixie), Peter Burke, Dakin, and Jim. The others are difficult.

I had been thinking about that for Michael, though he himself never actually travels in time in his canon. Also, I'm trying to come up with something that won't completely terrify him, since last time was GLITTER EYES.

Mike wants to see Molly raise someone from the dead.

Maybe Oliver can have a power to keep Evan from freaking the fuck out.

And if people had no memory of Kat when she leaves the room, it would mess with Kira's head so bad.

And FYI, I've handed Molly Weasley over to Mollie. I never knew what to do with her and Arthur since I was both of them.

I think that's a great idea for Oliver. His ability could just involve projecting calm. I like the idea of having a couple of characters with powers that don't involve them actually doing anything.

I'm having a hard time coming up with something for Kat, because so much of what we know about her as a character is tied to the power she already has, and she's supposed to have an additional power this week. Would it be better if I did something less freaky for Kira's sake?

Evan's is going to be telekinesis. Simple, but enough to freak him out a little.

Maybe Oliver projecting calm would be a good week to introduce the bit with Evan's nephews, so Evan can be rational about it instead of freaking the fuck out some more.

I don't mind messing with my character's heads because I'm evil, so you don't need to come up with something less freaky just for Kira's sake.

Awww, that could be really cute.

For Fi I was thinking something having to do with honesty, like she's forced to only say the truth, or she can tell when someone is lying to her. Or possibly something protection related, since one of her biggest fears is falling short and loosing her family. Like some sort of shielding capability.

Or put a not so pleasant twist on it, and have her actually be unseeable and unhearable to everyone who means something to her, and give her a taste of that deepest, darkest fear. And maybe her meet more people.

At first, I was going to do something involving drugs or alcohol, but I didn't want him to accidentally trigger Fi.

The unseeable/unhearable thing is something I was thinking about for two of my characters, but I decided against it. Just because I didn't want to make that happen to them. I like the idea of Fi having to tell the truth or something protection related.

Well if you still wanted to do something drug or alcohol related you could...but I don't know how that will go. Because I don't think Fi would handle it well past a point. She'd be like I am going down this road now with another guy like my dad. So she may throw him out. And it may take time to recover...

I kinda like the idea of Fi having to tell the truth to everything too. It might bring about some interesting stuff, haha.
