So this week is loosely based off the TV Show "Misfits"

There will be a freak global storm giving everyone superpowers...each power is based on a character's fears, personality or desire.

Here's some examples:

Personality: Katniss has a fiery temper at points and is dubbed the girl on fire...so she will have the ability to control fire also have it come out of her hands

Fears: Jack fears as an immortal losing people he loves especially Ianto he will have the power to resurrect the dead the catch being they will be immortal as well.

Desire: Irene wants sex so she will have the power to touch anyone she wants and they will be instantly seduced by her.

Players will get to chose their own powers if they need help brainstorming Ill definitely help. They can also chose where they play granted they follow the theme making it for the most part a light week.

Is that going to be Irene's actual power? It made me uncomfortable when Alisha had it on the show. I just want to know so that my characters don't engage with her this week if that's her ability.

I'm working on powers. This is so much harder than I thought!

Potential abilities:

Kat (Alphas) - something to do with her actions being reversed or people having no memory of her when she leaves the room

Don Keefer (The Newsroom) - has to write everything down, because the only word he can say is "fuck." (canon relevant, I swear)

Molly Hooper (Sherlock BBC) - raises the dead

Anya Raczynski (Survivors) - can temporarily heal all afflictions by touch

If anyone's significant others have ideas for the people I play, let me know? I've got vague thoughts for Elijah, Blaine (thanks, Pixie), Peter Burke, Dakin, and Jim. The others are difficult.

Mike wants to see Molly raise someone from the dead.

Maybe Oliver can have a power to keep Evan from freaking the fuck out.

And if people had no memory of Kat when she leaves the room, it would mess with Kira's head so bad.

And FYI, I've handed Molly Weasley over to Mollie. I never knew what to do with her and Arthur since I was both of them.

Peeta: Peeta & Eponine are spending time in NY to help them relax and cope with being abducted again. I think his powers are going to be healing, kind of like this guy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shawn_Farrell#Abilities), where he can heal others and himself. It works, cause he's worried about him and Eponine being hurt and he's afraid of doctor's.

Ron: He just wants to spend time with Hermione right now and not have his family find out they're living together. He is the only one in his family who wants to "take things slow" (or so he likes to think) so I was thinking of giving him some type of super speed powers. Ironic? Yes. Hilarious? Also yes. I was thinking of something with him being afraid of spiders, but I wasn't sure.

Sugar: She escaped last week pretty much unharmed. Honestly, I'm thinking of giving her Kurt's unicorn power from before, because she totally misses her unicorn, Diamond.

Jack: Who was brilliantly saved by his bf last week. Adorbs. I was thinking of giving him some type of super artistic powers, since he loves art but he's never been very good at it. Or maybe super gay powers, I dunno! I'm at a loss with him, if anyone has any ideas!

not sure if i'll be doing this one mostly because i epically failed the last week one working extra hours and getting sick does that to you

but three of my four guys have magical powers anyways... so if someone wants one to be there, i can be there.

Said as if I'm not having trouble with everyone's super power other than Fiona and Ian's. I just keep looking at my characters like I don't even know, just do something awesome, and when you figure it out, clue me in, kay?

Evan is going to have telekinesis.

Laura will be able to explode things by touching them - but only if she wants them to blow up.

Arthur will have instant understanding of muggle devices.

Mycroft is going to have something that's going to make him want to lock himself in his office until it goes away.

Alright, so here's my thoughts.

Fiona-she's always worried about being lied to and not having the ability to suss out ulterior motives and in people who are strangers finding out how fucked up her family is-so for the week, she has to tell the absolute truth

Ian-since he wants to be a Marine, and protecting people is important to him-he's gonna be able to put up shields

Lip-Again not sure, he's super smart, so I guess it could have to do with that, like maybe he knows everything now...also I think he's afraid of really putting his emotions out there after Karen, and of like losing his family...so maybe he has to be like completely emotionally open for the week, or maybe his family is invisible to him, or maybe he emits magical pheromones that make all the girls love him, lol...open to all suggestions

Amy-I'm not really sure....I think she's afraid of being a bad mom, of loosing Rory again....she's also very strong willed and stubborn...open to suggestions

Jenny-I think her biggest thing is like being rejected or unaccepted, so maybe something that has her at the center of things, or that like magically endears her to people

Fleur-maybe she has no magic for a week, as I bet she relies heavily on it

Lilith-her worst nightmare would be having to do kind things, so I think that her super power is going to make her live that nightmare, and she will be nice for a week

Lydia-leaning towards a few I guess, the possibility of her becoming a werewolf for the week, all late as hell reaction to the bite...or giving her some form of compulsion or mind control because she likes to be in charge, or possibly because she's afraid of being under someone else's control, after Peter, maybe she spends the whole week having to do what other people tell her

Molly- I think since she's big on mother henning, maybe some sort of thing where she's transported to people who need things

Brooke-I think she fears being inadequate, and right now, being dead....and she's really strong, and creative...so maybe she gets super strength, or like she's made of steel, impervious to all harm, or maybe she does like everything super well, or maybe she falls short all week, or maybe she's invisible to everyone she knows, so she feels like she's dead...or perhaps she somehow creates something everywhere she goes..again totally open to suggestions

Lip or Fi could have telepathy too, as a way of manifesting smart and seeing other people's motives

I approve of Brooke being impervious to all harm. That way Charlie doesn't have to wrap her up in bubble wrap to keep her safe.

New thought for Vala: teleportation a la Nighcrawler, or phasing like Kitty Pryde, for her mad thieving skillz ;) Or she can make any object she can picture appear in her hand (I mean, she can't just create something out of thin air, but if she's seen, say, Sheppard's car keys, she can make them disappear from his pocket and appear in her hand). Yes/no?

And Janet: maybe not just outright healing, but like, some diagnostic ability. If she touches someone, she can tell what's going on in their body. Like an x-ray/mri/eeg/etc., all rolled into one.

Or, because she has legendary bedside manner, persuasion. Probably to be used mostly for talking people down, convincing them things are going to be fine, don't try to leave my infirmary until I say you're ready Colonel O'Neill etc, because she wouldn't naturally be inclined to try to rile someone up. But if she did, that would work too. Basically she can talk someone into or out of anything.

Actually that would be good for Moiraine, as an extension of the "speak no word that is not true" Oath and how, despite it, people are still generally mistrustful of Aes Sedai. (Btw I haven't decided whether she's even still bound by the Oaths, but she's at least still behaving as if she is. She's had no reason to test them).

Okay here are my powers

Sheppard: Loves flying...so obviously he is gonna fly.

Rory: He is going to be impervious to anything since he died so many times.

Rodney: Will be able to heal people from diseases (because he's a hypochondriac)

Katniss: Will have the Pyrokensis, she can control fire and make it shoot out of her hands. This is due to being the girl on fire

Jack: Will have the ability to ressurect the Dead this is due to his fears of losing his friends and Ianto. However his price comes that person is immortal like him.

Steve: Since he is a daredevil and a risk tacker he will have superhuman strength...being so strong he can left Kamekono.

Kelly and Nathan: Their abilities originally given to them in the same manner will remain however they will be more intense.

Lucrezia: Will have the power to make people she doesn't like to feel intense pain.

Irene: Since she is always on her cellphone she will become extremely efficient with technology.

Gwen: Wants a boyfriend who can be a potential father for her daughter she will make people instantly attracted to her.

Belle: Will be able to read a book by touching her forehead to it.

Emma: Can make people tell the truth because she is the ultimate lie detector.
