Once Upon A Time / Storybrooke Week
Jan. 6th, 2013 06:12 pm
Hello everybody I am Emma Swan-St. John and I am the Deputy Mayor of Storybrooke. Regina Mills used to run the place but....we drove her out when she started dating this weird guy called "The Master". How they are out there running around without the curse affecting them....I don't even know.....ANYWAY My dad David Nolan, yeah I know he looks my age long story there, runs the place with his new girlfriend but he assigned my wonderful Husband Mick and I to help with guests and newcomers from "The Land Without Magic".
On behalf of our family we welcome you to Storybrooke.
Now before you enter you must know the story about this place. Orginally this place was the enchanted forest. When my son Henry came up to me with this story (if you would like to know the full tale he's the little expert so if you have any questions he will gladly let you read the book) I didn't believe it myself but the main point of this story is we are all a bunch of characters.....no really we are ALL a bunch of characters brought here by a curse set by the evil Queen. But part of the curse was recently broken while the characters remember who they are, they are not COMPLETELY back so please don't be alarmed if there are some magical things going on.
With that said we hope you enjoy your stay. We have plenty of fun events
The Mayors Mansion - Mick and I are happy to accomidate visitors since we have many guest rooms open if you don't feel like staying at Granny's, just please don't make a mess.
Granny's Bed and Breakfast.
Some Cool places to See:
Granny's Dinner
The Wishing Well
Storybrooke Docks (That and the Wishing Well are pretty Romantic Places FYI)
Toll Bridge
Mr. Gold's Shop -whispers- avoid making deals with the Owner

Date: 2013-01-08 06:14 pm (UTC)*as she is talking, walks over next to you by the closet*
*comes in behind you, wrapping her arms around your waist*
*kisses your neck*
*murmurs:* It is good to see you, however, even if this room is the price we must pay to do so.
Have you looked around the town at all yet?
~ Bela
((Pictures of some rooms at the b&b. (If you haven't already done your own research, of course. :P )))

I have not. *amused:* I find it is arguably a better option to relinquish my reserve weaponry before walking down Main Street. I suspect it is not atypical of its kind, however?

Date: 2013-01-10 12:32 am (UTC)I have yet to see anything out of the ordinary myself, however. Right now it still seems fairly typical of a small town. As thrilling as that is.

Date: 2013-01-10 05:00 pm (UTC)I'm not sure thrilling is the proper word for it, but yes.
*glances around the room*
What is it your job requires of you here?

Date: 2013-01-12 08:13 pm (UTC)Hardly.
But alright. *another brief kiss, then moves away, investigating the hotel room a bit more* *picks up a decoration, looking at it distastefully before setting it back down* If you should require time on your own to take care of such investigations, I am more than capable of keeping myself occupied. I have with me some work I brought in case you would need such time. Whatever it is you need.
Sark

Date: 2013-01-13 01:23 am (UTC)I may. It is difficult to determine what time I will need when I am not entirely sure what is going on. And you are welcome to join me, if you care to do so. I don't anticipate anything exceptionally out of the ordinary or dangerous. If you wish to keep yourself occupied with work on your own, I'm fine with that as well. *wry grin* I think a more pressing concern is what we are going to do about food around here.

Date: 2013-01-13 02:30 am (UTC)Right.
Mmh. *looks around the room* Particularly considering we do not seem to have been provided with a kitchenette. I suppose we shall have to partake in whatever the restaurant downstairs has to offer. *wrinkles his nose slightly at that* I suppose we have suffered worse.

Date: 2013-01-13 03:19 am (UTC)Don't tell me you have never engaged in roleplay before?
It cannot be as bad as the carnival offerings at least? And did I tell you I once worked in a diner as part of a job? Eating there has to be at least slightly better than working there. *grins*
~ Bela
no subject
Date: 2013-01-13 03:35 am (UTC)No, I merely did not expect that to be the subject of your fantasies. Although it does beg the question of in what roleplay you have partaken.
*raises his eyebrows at the diner part, then:*
Hopefully. I was, however, able to at least cook my own meals there. And I certainly hope that job at least did not last for long.
Sark

Date: 2013-01-13 04:12 am (UTC)Wouldn't you like to know.
Long enough. It felt like it lasted longer than it really did. It is actually where I met the Winchesters. I stole something from them while acting as their waitress at the diner.
~ Bela

Date: 2013-01-13 04:40 am (UTC)Actually, yes. Considering I find it is rather more difficult to fulfill such fantasies when one has little idea what they are.
*slides his hands down her sides, then gives her a slight smirk*
Unless, of course, you would not care for that.
Sark

Date: 2013-01-13 04:48 am (UTC)I actually haven't done much in the way of roleplay. One night stands are not generally conducive to it. I was more surprised that you had not then indicating that I had partaken in it a great deal.
*smirks*
Not that I would be adverse to it. If you were so inclined.

Date: 2013-01-13 05:15 am (UTC)*pause*
Although I am uncertain if pirates are a particularly attractive option.
Sark

Date: 2013-01-13 05:22 am (UTC)*curious tone:*
But if you do not consider pirates an attractive option, what is more your interest?
~ Bela
((That has been bugging me every time I read it, and I had a spare moment, so I edited. Sorry if you were already partway through a response.))

Date: 2013-01-14 12:32 am (UTC)I cannot claim to know much of the subject, but I also seem to recall a certain level of brutality in their character.
But as for my own interests... *pause, then:* I previously dated someone in my line of work. When disguises were required, it was not altogether atypical for them to follow us to bed. As such I have engaged in a variety of scenarios previously, and my interests are rather openminded.
Sark

Date: 2013-01-14 11:29 pm (UTC)*arches an eyebrow*
*smirks*
Interesting... If ever we are together for more than a weekend in the future, it might be something worthy of exploration.
~ Bela

Date: 2013-01-15 04:23 am (UTC)Mmh. Of course. *absently brushes her hair off of her shoulder, then traces the back of his fingers over her jaw line, watching distractedly* I should hope that would occur sooner rather than later, but we both know how fickle my schedule can be.
Sark

Date: 2013-01-16 04:08 am (UTC)It isn't particularly. I'm not exactly the fairy tale type.
*rests her hands on your hips*
*leans into your touch a bit*
*gives a wry grin*
Which is almost enough to make me reconsider working with you.
~ Bela

Date: 2013-01-16 08:29 pm (UTC)*smirks a bit, then slides his hand down her shoulder, toying with the fabric there*
It is one of the benefits of the job, certainly.

Date: 2013-01-17 12:03 am (UTC)I have. However I have mentioned any number of things to you over the past year or so. I'm surprised you would remember.
*light smirk*
*maneuvers her fingers under your shirt to lightly caress your sides*
Hmmmm.... there seem to be several of those. I'm having a difficult time remembering why I didn't choose to work with you.
~ Bela

Date: 2013-01-17 01:00 am (UTC)*grins a bit at her caress*
I'm certain it was for a good reason.
Sark

Date: 2013-01-17 01:26 am (UTC)*pauses, trying to keep a straight face*
*cannot, and laughs softly*
*gives you a quick kiss*
Yes, of course I recall. Although, I did not entirely focus on the timing aspect of it. This is a remarkably similar situation to that one. Apparently December is not our month for exciting locales?
*runs her hands up your front under your shirt and lightly trails her nails back down*
*light smirk*
I suppose we shall have to make do as best we can with the limited options we have available.
*half distracted, still lightly moving her hands across your stomach:*
And, yes, I'm sure my reasons were perfectly valid at the time. As I do tend to be rather rational. I am just having difficulty remembering what they were.
~ Bela
no subject
Date: 2013-01-17 02:22 am (UTC)Considering what it is we did to occupy our time, I would certainly hope it was not unmemorable. But yes, I completed my job that month on the eleventh of December, and the day after was when I met with you. So I believe it has been almost exactly a year now. It does have a certain amount of symmetry, does it not?
*emits a light sigh at her nails on his skin*
You will find no argument from me.
Mmh. Well, the offer is always open, for when you are less distracted.
*moves in to kiss her gently*
Sark
no subject
Date: 2013-01-17 03:04 am (UTC)Oh, you mean the carnival games and the shooting range? Yes, they were very memorable. *grins*
*pauses, thinking about why you would want to stay with her for a year, her grin faltering slightly and her tone becoming less amused/more serious*
A year... *trails off* If someone had asked me any time in the past ten years if I would have ever envisioned myself in any kind of relationship for a year, I would never have believed them. I don't even think I would have believed it when we started this, back at the carnival. *wry grin* Then again, at that point I also thought I would be dead by now, so it's probably not a fair assessment point.
*gets the amused tone back in her voice*
I did not bring you an anniversary present or anything, but I suppose I could tie a bow in my hair for you to unwrap or something such as that if you so desire.
*grins*
Although I am certain we will not be lacking ways to celebrate.
*takes her hands out from under your shirt and places one behind your head, to pull you into a more passionate kiss*
