Once Upon A Time / Storybrooke Week
Jan. 6th, 2013 06:12 pm
Hello everybody I am Emma Swan-St. John and I am the Deputy Mayor of Storybrooke. Regina Mills used to run the place but....we drove her out when she started dating this weird guy called "The Master". How they are out there running around without the curse affecting them....I don't even know.....ANYWAY My dad David Nolan, yeah I know he looks my age long story there, runs the place with his new girlfriend but he assigned my wonderful Husband Mick and I to help with guests and newcomers from "The Land Without Magic".
On behalf of our family we welcome you to Storybrooke.
Now before you enter you must know the story about this place. Orginally this place was the enchanted forest. When my son Henry came up to me with this story (if you would like to know the full tale he's the little expert so if you have any questions he will gladly let you read the book) I didn't believe it myself but the main point of this story is we are all a bunch of characters.....no really we are ALL a bunch of characters brought here by a curse set by the evil Queen. But part of the curse was recently broken while the characters remember who they are, they are not COMPLETELY back so please don't be alarmed if there are some magical things going on.
With that said we hope you enjoy your stay. We have plenty of fun events
The Mayors Mansion - Mick and I are happy to accomidate visitors since we have many guest rooms open if you don't feel like staying at Granny's, just please don't make a mess.
Granny's Bed and Breakfast.
Some Cool places to See:
Granny's Dinner
The Wishing Well
Storybrooke Docks (That and the Wishing Well are pretty Romantic Places FYI)
Toll Bridge
Mr. Gold's Shop -whispers- avoid making deals with the Owner
RP wise it is a free for all week. You can do whatever you want whether it be dirty....clean...fluffy or angst ridden.....but there will be some cool interactive features you have the option of doing:
Events- Ill be posting an event thread once every two-three days, this is optional for those who are in the midsts of intense threads, but it's mainly group threads and social gatherings in the town its there so characters can socialize and have fun with their buddies and stuff.

Keep your eyes peeled for the questions you don't want to miss this, especially because I cant wait for the interesting. At the end of the week there will be voting and people will be rewarded in a shotout post.
If you have any questions feel free to contact the Mayors office, I will be happy to assist you!

I believe I could make a case to remain here for at least some time longer. However, you do have a job to perform. Perhaps we should look into that first so that we may spend our time how we choose.

Date: 2013-01-21 03:22 am (UTC)Why does you making a case for remaining here not surprise me in the least, mio coccolissimo? *gives you a quick kiss* I suppose I do not need to rush off immediately.
At some point, however, I will need to look at that shop. Ideally, the artifact I am seeking will be out for purchase, as people rarely realize what they are in possession of. If that is not the case, I shall have to do a more in-depth reconnaissance. Either way, I do not think this job will be all that strenuous of an undertaking. Fortunately. ((Considering she's likely dealing with Rumpel, she is likely wrong. But we don't need to deal with that. :P ))

Date: 2013-01-21 04:11 am (UTC)I somehow didn't figure you would.
After I have obtained the object, we do not have to remain here, if you do not wish to do so. There is not much in the general vicinity, but Boston is not far. I would presume that there are much better restaurants and hotels there.
*pauses*
How long do I have you for this time around?

Officially, I do not make a full return to field work until next week, due to concern about my injury, so I have no pressing obligations until then. You're welcome to as much of this week as you would like.

Which means I likely should get to work. As the sooner I gain possession of the artifact, the sooner we can make our way to a more refined locale.
*makes no move to get up, however*
