boston week: part one!

Welcome to Boston, Massachusetts! We hope you've found your accommodations to your liking. It's Christmas week, so the streets are bustling along nicely, the trees are up, and decorations line Faneuil Hall. No snow just yet, but we hope you like the 30°F weather! (Might want to bundle up.)

Even around this time of year, there's much to be done in the city -- take a gander at some of the potential attractions on your brochure and get out there to go enjoy the sights!

((Host note: I'm starting the week off easy with a general RP, but come Wednesday, expect a new post with -- gasp -- tasks! Unfortunately, I just won't be a stable enough presence to maintain what I have planned until then. So for now, get settled in and have fun!

Feel free to go all around the city -- I've outlined/summarized some key areas to hit up in the list up there. If you're stumped on somewhere to go, hit up the mod thread and I'll make sure to point you in the right direction!))

*he stops when she does, looking at her confused for a second, before he realizes what she's doing and he bursts out laughing*

Ah, so you can read my mind all the time? What am I thinking now?

*wraps his arms tightly around her waist, picking her up and spinning her around in the middle of the sidewalk before setting her down*

*his eyes go wide and he gasps loudly, covering his mouth*

You're right! You're magnificent! How do you do that?!

*grasps her hand tightly as he begins to run, pulling her behind him, weaving in and out of the people walking on the street*

*laughs the entire way, not caring about the weird looks everyone is giving them, pausing only briefly as they wait to cross the street*

*he stops in front of the hotel to catch his breath, doubled over in a fit of laughter*

*follows her to the elevator, hitting the button, as he wraps an arm around her back, holding her close to him*

I think I'm going to suggest a hands on examination as well. Just to make sure I don't miss something.

*the man gives them a dirty look before walking past them, but he puts a hand on her lower back, leading her around*

*takes the room key out of his pocket, opening the door, letting her go in first*

I think we were about to actually disturb the peace.

*he unbuttons his coat, throwing it near the desk, as he walks up to her, pushing her coat off her shoulders, throwing it over with his*

*pushes her hair away from her face, leaning in to whisper in her ear*

Perhaps I could convince you to be b--

*he stops when he hears a meow and something brush against his leg, and he chuckles*

Bisou! Kitten, I almost forgot about you.

*the cat looks up at them and meows again, nuzzling against Eponine's leg*

*bends down to pick her up, holding her between them*

Mommy and daddy are going to have some private time now, little kitten. Promise we'll snuggle with you later.

Let's go see.

*goes to the bathroom to see that she still has half a bowl of food and almost a full bowl of water*

Good enough for me. Stay here for a bit, kitten.

*sets the cat down on the counter, before closing the door quickly behind him*

*goes back to her, resting his arms back on her shoulders, smiling down at her*

Now...I think I was trying to convince you to be a disturber of the peace.
