During the war, when I wasn't speaking to my family, I wondered if they would even notice if I did die.

I know better now, and things are better, but I'm still so different from the rest of them. Fred's the only one that actually gets me - and that's only because we were in an explosion together.

Bill and Charlie at least are trying, but they're about about talking about things as I am, so we all really just pretend to get each other while not having a clue.

It depends. How much of it will we be running by your mum along the way?

Almost all of it, unfortunately.

It would go faster if we just let her make all the decisions, but then there would also be like a thousand people there.

It's going to be a little awkward for me as it is... all of these people you know and no one who knows me.

I hate that... That she likes me and not Grace.

I know it'll work itself out. Just makes me sad, is all.

It's not just Grace. She doesn't like Charlie's friend Brooke either.

I actually talked to both Grace and Brooke about it earlier in the week.

Mum's been watching Crina this week, so Brooke was going to try to go home early to talk her her.

Grace is going to try to spend more time with Mum so they can get to know each other better.

Mum got Charlie back, only to have him leave again. I've not the slightest clue why, but ever since he's finished school England has stifled him, so moving was the best thing for him, but I don't think Mum actually sees that.

And Bill needs to stop trying to protect Grace from Mum. He already has one failed marriage and I know Mum's afraid this one is going to crash and burn too.
