Kivrin Engle (Doomsday Book)
Date: 2012-09-22 10:08 pm (UTC)She's from a Connie Willis book called Doomsday Book. The least spoilery bio I can give: Kivrin is a historian specializing in the Medieval period. This period was previously locked down, with no historians being allowed to travel to it as it is deemed too dangerous, but when the ban is lifted, Kivrin is the first to be sent there.
And bad things happen.
Mafia history: She and Clint "Hawkeye" Barton are in love. :D
