We... uh.. work in the family business -saving people, hunting things. It's really not very glamorous. We live in a car, eat at diner's and get on each other's nerves. A lot.
We've been described as erotically co-dependent, but I wouldn't read too much into that. Just because we can't live without each other and never stray for long, it doesn't mean what you think it means

Peeta Mellark (The Hunger Games)

He has a way with words, is very strong, and tends to see things as they are. He and Katniss came out of the Hunger Games alive and now he has to deal with the consequences.
RP: I think I'm going to play him post-Hunger Games, maybe a little bit like Catching Fire, but not during Mockingjay.

He struggled to adapt to a world without luxuries in the aftermath, but fell in with a group of survivors including Anya, falling in love with fellow survivor Sarah, and developing a paternal relationship with a young boy named Najid.
Kate Kane/Batwoman
Date: 2012-10-24 03:41 pm (UTC)Coming from a military background, Kate went to West Point herself, only to be found out as gay and kicked out. Her family is one of the richest of Gotham, owning that which the Waynes do not. Kate, her sister Beth, and their mother were all taken hostage when Kate was twelve, and before they could be rescued, Beth and her mother were killed.
After being denied from the military, Kate spent a good deal of time directionless. She spent most of her time drunk until she met Batman after having been attacked by and taking down a mugger, inspiring her to take up the cowl herself. She spent a year of intensive training before returning to Gotham to take up the mantle, her father heavily involved in the process.
In Batwoman: Elegy, Kate takes on a villain named Alice, who is killed in the final struggle. It's revealed that Beth, her sister, wasn't killed when she was twelve, but was instead brainwashed and turned into Alice. Her father had hid Beth's survival from Kate to protect her, resulting in a major fallout between the two.
