*he was resentful of the comment for multiple reasons, first of all, because Sebastian was right, Sugar could, and should do better than him, and secondly because he had no idea what he had in mind for Sugar, and third because he was pretty sure that sugar knew what she was getting into, she was a big girl who could make her own decisions, and third because he could hear sugar sniffle behind him, and he didn't know if it's because she was comparing herself to neighborhood skanks, or regretting things, or just hurt by how her brother was reacting and behaving*
