A Week in Rural Scotland

Thank you for joining us here in picturesque Glen Macalie, on the shore of Loch Leven in the Grampian Mountains of Scotland. We welcome you to the campus of the Glen Macalie School for Girls and hope that you will enjoy your stay.


This week will largely be unstructured; you are welcome to investigate the castle (which dates back to 1237 CE) and the nearby village of Glen Macalie. Some resources which will be available to you include:

In the castle:
Comprehensive Library
Modern Kitchens
State of the art Training/Exercise Room
Extensively landscaped grounds and gardens
Horseback Riding
Fishing
Hiking

In the village:
Shopping
Pubs and restaurants
Museum
Historical buildings
Golf

We ask only that you take care to observe the following rules:

1) Please do not leave campus near or after dark.
2) Venturing too far outside after dark, even on campus, is not guaranteed to be safe. You do so at your own risk.
3) There will be occasional evening events. Participation in these events should be considered of minor risk; however, anyone taking part should endeavor to follow all directions to ensure his or her safety.

It was hard keeping it from people... It was hard when I found out that John's in love with him.

*bites her lip again - she's figured out that Fiona must be the person Sherlock was talking about*

I'm angry with Sherlock - not you.

I told him John was his "special" friend. He insisted he was just a blogger.

Fair enough. I'm sorry for....*she's not really sure what she's done* making things more difficult?

You haven't done anything. *shakes her head*

It's just that I know he's in love with John. As in love with him as Sherlock can be with anyone. And John is in love with him, and had to live with the knowledge that he was dead for so long. And then he learned that he isn't dead, but... I don't know how he'll handle Sherlock returning and suddenly being interested in someone else.

And because I'm in love with John, it hurts to know that he's going to be hurt by Sherlock again.

*it still makes her feel kinda shitty, like she's the other woman, and she's not even sure how she feels about Sherlock in the interested/not intereested sense, she keeps sort of avoiding thinking about it because she knows Sherlock will never figure it out*

That just sucks. I'm sorry. *not for anything she's done this time, but jsut because it sounds like an impossible situation and she's been in more than one of those, she can empathize*

My brother ran away to Amsterdam. I had to go get him. I was routed through here for the return flights. ((I don't even know, I'm making it up, since she did go looking for Lip last week...))
