A Week in Rural Scotland
Jan. 20th, 2013 07:16 pm
Thank you for joining us here in picturesque Glen Macalie, on the shore of Loch Leven in the Grampian Mountains of Scotland. We welcome you to the campus of the Glen Macalie School for Girls and hope that you will enjoy your stay.
This week will largely be unstructured; you are welcome to investigate the castle (which dates back to 1237 CE) and the nearby village of Glen Macalie. Some resources which will be available to you include:
In the castle:
Comprehensive Library
Modern Kitchens
State of the art Training/Exercise Room
Extensively landscaped grounds and gardens
Horseback Riding
Fishing
Hiking
In the village:
Shopping
Pubs and restaurants
Museum
Historical buildings
Golf
We ask only that you take care to observe the following rules:
1) Please do not leave campus near or after dark.
2) Venturing too far outside after dark, even on campus, is not guaranteed to be safe. You do so at your own risk.
3) There will be occasional evening events. Participation in these events should be considered of minor risk; however, anyone taking part should endeavor to follow all directions to ensure his or her safety.
If you have any questions, please feel free to see Mr. Giles or Ms. Summers.

Date: 2013-01-23 08:37 pm (UTC)That sounds nice. Though, I don't think we'll be able to do what we usually do in front of the fireplace here.
Yeah! That looks like fun. Let's do it.

Oh, then we can so do this. Mmm...getting lost with you would be nice...but without food, we can't ever get really lost. That would be tragedy.

Date: 2013-01-24 12:41 am (UTC)Who would find it? We already have things from almost everywhere we've been. We could keep little things from everywhere we've been to.
*looks around as well, chuckling a little*
Do we have a plan on how to get out now?

Date: 2013-01-24 01:36 am (UTC)I mean...the point of a maze is to get out, right? But...if you have a reason to stay in here all alone, I think I'd be open to that.

I didn't say I wanted to find out just yet...
*starts walking backwards into the maze, grinning at her as he turns blindly around a corner*
