European Train Ride Week

Lets see if I can get it right this time.

Sorry this is so late. Ended up in the hospital this afternoon. This will be a low key week because I don't have it in me for a lot of activities at the moment.



Welcome to The Ebbsfleet International Railway Station located to the east of London. From here, you will be catching the Eurostar train to Paris. Make sure you have your Eurail train pass handy. This is the pass that will allow you to travel throughout europe. If you lose this, you may have to buy a new ticket or remain where you are while the rest of us go on.


Feel free to have a look around the station. The train will be here shortly. As soon as it arrives, you can find your seat and then wander around and get to know your fellow travelers.

Day 2: Welcome to Paris. Feel free to wander around and enjoy the sites.

Day 3: Welcome to Amsterdam. There are sites to see for everyone. Check out the canals. Eat in one of the many fine restaurants. Or if you are into more risqué fun, check out the Red Light District. Here.

We'll be heading for Berlin in the morning.

Day 5:
Today we've arrived in Venice. Venice is really a collection of small islands connected by canals. Venice is the perfect city for couples. If you want to stay around, you can catch the Venice Carnival that begins the end of January. For now, you can take a romantic or relaxing Gondola ride. You can take a tour of the city by boat. You can crash in one of the many luxury hotels. There are museums, amazing architecture, or opera houses. If nightlife is your thing, there are jazz clubs, coffee houses, and pubs to enjoy.

Day 7: And our trip this week ends in Budapest. Stay as long as you like and enjoy your trip home.

"Yeah. Wow." Isaac giggles.

"So... you like that." Scott licks at his throat again. "All the wolf stuff."

"I guess so." Isaac blushes. "Do you want me to...?"

Scott nods slowly. "It's good. Because... I've always had trouble holding back the wolf. When I... you know."

"With Allison?" Isaac blushes. Scott didn't seem to answer his question, which he feels he should expect because he's too much of a coward to actually ask for what he wants. He sighs, angry at himself, and distracts himself by tracing lines along Scott's collarbone.

Scott nods, but he's distracted from the change in Isaac's body language. "What's wrong?"

Isaac shakes his head. "It's stupid."

"Do you know how hard it's going to be to keep anything from me now?" Scott laughs lightly. "Besides. If it's bugging you, it's not stupid. Not to me."

"It's just..." Isaac lets out a frustrated noise. "Why can't I ask for what I want? Especially after what we just did. What's wrong with me?"

"Because this is new and overwhelming, and neither of us have any idea what we're doing," Scott smiled.

"I shouldn't be this scared though. I'm supposed to be strong."

"No." Scott shakes his head. "No, Isaac, when you're just with me you're not supposed to be anything. Just be whatever you're feeling."

"I can't be scared, Scott," Isaac voice breaks on the last word. His mind is just an endless loop of all the times his dad would beat him for showing fear. Told him that it'd make him stronger, that he shouldn't cry.

"Of course you can. Because you're with me and you're safe. You're always safe now, Isaac."

Isaac whines, like a lost child or puppy, and buries his face into Scott's neck, sniffling.

Scott wraps his arms tightly around Isaac. "I'm serious, Isaac. I'd kill anyone who tries to hurt you. Even people who hurt you before, if I had the chance." A low growl rises from his throat as he thinks about what he would have done if he'd ever been faced with Isaac's dad, knowing what he's learned since.

Isaac snuffles and nuzzles into Scott's neck. "Hard to get over, you know?" His hairs stand up on end when Scott growls, but he quickly relaxes when he realizes the growl is for other people, not him.

Scott nods, scratching gentle fingers through Isaac's hair. "I understand. I think. I mean... I should probably be grateful that my dad just left," he murmurs softly, holding Isaac close. "I wish I'd known. I wish I could have helped you."

Isaac shrugs. "Other people knew. They didn't care."

"People knew?" Scott growls again, pulling back to look at Isaac incredulously.

"Jackson did," Isaac whispers.

Scott's eyes flash and he feels his fangs against his lip. "That son of a... fuck!" Scott yells, turning his head away for a moment, taking a deep breath.

"I'm sorry," Isaac says quietly.

"Why are you sorry? Jackson should be sorry. Maybe he will be sorry, if there's anything left of him after I'm finished." Scott takes deep breaths, each sounding like an angry, animalistic huff.

"Because I upset you. Because I ruined what should have been a perfect night." Isaac's lip quivers, but he holds in his tears. His father's words echo in his head: real men don't cry.
