Hello everyone. I'm Dr. David Sawyer and this is my fiance, Bryan Collins, who would probably kill me if I didn't mention his television show, "Sing," which you should all definitely watch. It airs... sometime. On a channel. I should know those things.



Contrary to what the picture above suggests, we live in sunny Los Angeles, and you are ALL invited to our house for a Holiday party! Bryan has everything set up - the food is catered, the drinks are free, and everyone is welcome.

There are just a few house rules.

1. Be careful of the turkeys in the backyard. They do bite.

2. This is the bed I share with my fiance:



Please DO NOT have sex in or on or NEAR it. There's a guest house with multiple guest rooms for that.

And that's all there is to it. If you have any questions, Shania or I will be happy to answer them. If you're interested in seeing more of Los Angeles and less of our party (or if you're one of those people who isn't comfortable going to a party being hosted by strangers), there will be a thread for Shania to give you touristy advice.

This party will run for the entire span of the week, though it's all really in one night. We might post some activities day to day for people who enjoy a bit of direction, but this is mostly a place for everyone to come together and mingle. Get to know people you've never met, enjoy your friends and family. Eat, drink, and be merry... and please don't trash my house!

Hopefully they're not raising them just to eat them. That would be quite distressing for the children. *said as though speaking from personal experience*

((Totally happened to my mom. She got a chick for Easter one year and when Peep Peep was all grown up, Peep Peep ended up on the dinner table. My mom refused to eat dinner that night for obvious reasons.))

My relationship with Sherlock was complicated. He took it quite personally when I couldn't take him with me to Eton - nevermind that he was only six - and never really got over it.

Father was distant at best and Mummy was, well, Mummy. He was jealous that I got to escape nine months out of the year. I'm just glad that by the time he was old enough for Eton, I was already at Cambridge - he'd gotten quite good at making my life hell at that point.

*fights the instinct to tense up at Gregory's hand on his back*

You'll have to help me with not hiding too. Sometimes it feels like I've been doing it my whole life.

Sherlock always wanted everyone's attention. I was just at an age where little brothers stopped being fun and started being pests.

There probably was a window where we could have reconciled, but I was too busy building my career. When I finally stopped to pay attention, he was too busy getting high and I may have been a little too tough with the whole tough love thing.
