This place is amazingly beautiful.

*the chair feels so plush, it's been a while since she's had creature comforts*

My parents sent me to a special school when I was younger. To train me to be prepared for the world. That's what they said anyway. *hates, having been sent away and is coloring the truth* They definitely are! Very thrilled! And so I am. I'm so ready to experience all of it.

Isn't it wonderful?! Truly just magnificent what they can come up with these days, and so tastefully decorated. I don't mind riding around in this train at all. 200 miles per hour in motion and you can barely feel a thing! Quite fantastic, really.

A special school? *hums while she pours herself some juice* You mean the career academy I assume? What special skill did you pick up there? Surely you've heard of Finnick Odair in that case, yes? The boy with the trident. Stunning to watch. Have you ever used one?

Wow, this really moves that fast? You'd never be able to tell. It feels like we're sitting perfectly still.

*smiles and nods* The career academy. That's the one. Umm, how to befriend the much more powerful than me. *laughs as if she's told a joke, even if that's most of how she survives where she is, to buy time, so she can figure out the right thing to say*

He is amazing to watch. *she can imagine, thought the only interaction she's had with tridents are in The little Mermaid or ancient pictures of King Neptune, or Poseidon*

*shakes head* Me? No. they're quite heavy.

*tilts head to the side and considers this* Well I suppose a social game couldn't hurt. It's always worth a try although you might be killed before you have the chance to befriend them. I bet that helps your interview though, Caesar will have an absolute ball with you, oh I can't wait to see that.

And knives as well! Very impressive, I'm sure you're quite skilled. I don't know anything about that business myself. That's far from my department. Normally they bring me in to escort you all around and teach you how to speak properly but I'm quite happy to see you have that worked out for yourself!

You might be surprised the kind of sympathy you can engender with a social game. Until all the cards have to be played and it becomes each man for themselves. I can be quite charming. *gives a toothy grin*

I can't wait to speak to Caesar myself. Some others seem so stiff.

Oh, I absolutely am. If I can't get sympathy, I can probably get fear. The ability to manipulate, is quite possibly anyone's strongest weapon.

*smiles*

Well, you do an amazing job. Here, talking to you, it's quite pleasant. *eats a strawberry, taking her time, trying to show the same deference for the food that Effie does*

I still have no idea where I'm going, so I'm counting on you. Don't lead me astray.
