A little bit about you (as non-spoilery as possible): I'm Executive Producer for the 10 o'clock show, and a participant in NewsNight 2.0, even though it isn't my job to be.
Conversational style: Snarky, sometimes to the point of being rude. Sometimes surprises you with how great a guy he actually is.

Host something maybe, like Ryan Seacrest, or the chick on So You think You Can Dance. Maybe the news.

I was a kid. It wasn't a really well thought out plan. I just wanted to be famous.

*strikes a mature pose*

I still do.

But I don't know if I'll ever be back in a world where any of that matters. And if I am...it might not matter to me anymore.

Because the world I come from is like Lord of Flies meets X-Men, mixed with some really creepy Stephen King shit.

There are no adults left. No electricity. And we're just kids, trying not to die. Very few people make it to sixteen. So I'm not thinking I need a life plan anymore. Just a day plan.

*shakes her head*

No thanks. I'm good. Drinking before. It would have felt important. But seeing seven year olds and kids your own age, drunk. It doesn't seem like the biggest deal ever anymore.

And Orc. He just drinks and drinks because he feels sorry for himself. Because he's like the rock monster from the never ending story now.

Where I come from. What the world is. What I am. it sucks. But it's no reason to feel sorry for myself. I have to make sure, that if we ever find a way out. I have something to get back out to.

One drink probably wouldn't make me hopeless. But why tempt the beast, right?

Maybe Sprite, if you have some?

Because I have five siblings to raise. My mom left when I was thirteen. And dad slipped into drinking. Someone had to keep us all together.
