I should have never expected more of him. I knew what I was getting into. I knew who he was. Who he always would continue to be.

he has no interest in the baby, either. But he doesn't know the baby has powers. More powers than him. And he never can. He'd either want to kill it, so he'd stay most powerful. Or raise it, as his heir. A prince.

We all do. Get sucked up in our own stuff. It's not a big deal.

My best friend and I were supposed to go away to school together. Musical theatre. Singing and dancing... the things I was born to do.
