Katniss was originally from Panem where she won the 74th Annual Hunger Games with Peeta Mellark. After her win she was somehow transferred to the modern world...she quickly found out that Peeta has been transported with her as well.

RP CANNON: After settling in to her new situation, she stumbled upon Castiel who told her about Demon Hunting. During her search she met Sam Winchester who had been estranged from his brother due to his new relationship and are currently dating. Since then the two of them have been going out hunting Demons. However Katniss hopes he mends things with his brother, and somehow get her sister back in this world too. She has also has mended her relationship with Peeta Mellark
