A modly FYI!
Nov. 19th, 2012 12:01 amFirst off, I apologize for the spam!
Secondly, we all know accidents happen, right? We all get caught up in the moment and boom! Something bad happens. What I am referring to is broken pages! It's awesome that you all love RP so much that you get wrapped up in your own world sometimes! Unfortunately, what can happen is that a thread becomes so long that it breaks the page and people can no longer access their threads below yours.
Fear not! There is a way to solve this. Start at the bottom of your thread and start deleting comments until the page is unbroken! (Not sure how many this is approximately.) You can copy your comments into word pad or something and then paste them into a reply to the original comment. You may ask for temporary access if you cannot set up a good time for you and your partner to do this. Also, try to get it done ASAP if it happens in a current post
Tips for not breaking pages!
-Occasionally check back to the main post to see how squished over your thread is if you're in thread view.
-Just get in the habit of routinely creating new threads to keep it from happening
-Try to reply to the original comment instead of a comment buried somewhere within the thread
-Never hesitate to ask a mod for help!
