Ren Faire: Merchant's Row

Welcome all to Merchant's Row! The main Ren Faire Post for the beginning of the week will be up shortly, but for now, for those running a shop, here is where you'll be doing that from!

Our Registered Vendor Booths are as follows...

If you have a name you'd like for your shop in place of what I have above, you can let me know and I'll fix it. Pricing is whatever you feel is fair for your services. Please don't charge more than 20 tokens for anything.

Shopkeepers will have half of the tokens spent at their shop added to both their spending total for tokens (meaning you can spend half of what you earn here) and to their total tokens for the week (meaning the total that determines where you stand in terms of points earnings). For those of you shopping at Merchant's Row, I will be subtracting whatever you spend from what you have left to spend at other booths, but you will keep those tokens as part of your total tokens for the week.

Those of you making icons: You will be awarded your tokens for each order that you have responded to - just agreeing to what you're making. Icons do not have to be made this week for you to receive credit for them. Everyone else - Deliver your product. Since you're really just posting pictures anyway.

Also - Lady Kivrin will be stopping in to every shop at least once to place an order. Just to make sure everyone gets at least one. ((I don't have to earn tokens, yo. I AM THE TOKENS.))

Questions/Comments go in the appropriate place below. Shopkeepers... post your shops whenever you wish. And watch for new shops popping up throughout the week everybody!

Shopkeepers: You may request a tally of your tokens at any time and I will get them to you as soon as possible. Otherwise, I will be posting a comment once a day to help you keep track.

WELCOME TO LADY KIVRIN'S HISTORICALLY INACCURATE AWESOMETIMES REN FAIRE



Hello and welcome to Lady Kivrin's First Annual Renaissance Faire, which is taking place in Fremont, CA - just 40 miles outside of San Francisco! There are rides of all kinds - a Dragon Swing, a Carousel, a Ferris Wheel. I did mention that this Ren Faire was inaccurate, yes? There are games that will be posted throughout the week where you'll be able to trade tickets for tokens, plus special events with bigger token prizes!

Food booths include the Boar's Den: Nothing like a big slab of meat to get you in the mood for Ye Olde times. Meat on a stick, ale, mead, funnel cakes, shaved ice, churros, and other anachronisms are to be found at Lady Kivrin's Historically Inaccurate Awesometimes Ren Faire!

Every character begins with 30 tickets. Play the games. Win tokens. Spend them at our shops on Merchant's Row.

If you'd like to request RP Tasks and earn more tickets for the games, there's a thread located in my LJ for that very purpose. Turn in your completed tasks here.

If the Ren Faire isn't your scene, you don't have to stay. We are very close to Oakland, Berkeley, and San Francisco. Feel free to take your characters off on side adventures.

And watch the threads. New games and special challenges will pop up daily to give you and your characters more opportunities to win tokens and enjoy the Ren Faire!

Special Announcement: Due to technical difficulties (Google Drive is an ass), you may request RP tasks now, but I will not be able to start giving them out until tomorrow. Thank you for your patience/understanding/etc.

RP Tasks are forthcoming.

All characters will now be awarded 50 tickets a day to allow them to enter the games and throw people in the stocks. If you have already received an RP task, you may complete that task for tickets, but no more tasks will be given. Thank you for understanding.
